Furness Multicultural Community Saturday Morning Children's Club

Furness Multicultural Community Forum is continuing to hold their Saturday morning children’s club sessions.

Each month we celebrate a different country and learn about the different culture of that country. So Far children and their families have enjoyed games and activities celebrating Egyptian and Thai cultures. Starting this Saturday we will begin to look at the customs of Argentina.

Each month the sessions are lead by our multicultural centre members who have come to live in Barrow from each of these countries who want to share their rich knowledge and experience.

This is a chance for you to engage with your children while learning about a different culture, make new friends and to experience games and activities from around the world.

Sessions are suitable for children aged from 3-12 years. The club is open to all families. Refreshments are included but there is a suggested donation of £2 per family.

Furness Multicultural Centre is situated at 15-17 The Mall, Duke Street, Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria LA14 1HL.

To book a place please contact Helen on 01229 877399, Maha on 07948389117 or Sol on 07712601715
