Exciting free workshops for 11-14-year-olds from Central and Hindpool Wards

Signal Films is offering special free workshops after school and on the weekend in June led by professional filmmakers, designers and animators.

Come along and find out how to:

• Be a Cover Star – learn how to take pictures and use Photoshop to create effects and your own magazine cover or movie poster

• Animate Yourself – create a character, get it moving and give it a voice, sounds and music

• Star in Your Own Film – find out how to use blue screen effects and create your own backdrops like they do in the movies!

Dates & Times:

Each workshop lasts 2½ hours and takes place twice between Wednesday June 23rd – Sunday June 27th – try one or come along to all three!

Weds June 23rd 4pm – 6.30pm Star in Your Own Film

Thurs June 24th 4pm – 6.30pm Animate Yourself

Fri June 25th 4pm – 6.30pm Be a Cover Star

Sat June 26th 10am-12.30pm Star in Your Own Film

1.30pm-4pm Animate Yourself

Sun June 27th 10am-12.30pm Animate Yourself

These activities can count as credits towards ASDAN qualifications and support and help in completing them is available – please ask!
